Bókun is the all-in one booking system that helps you get bookings from a variety of channels and manage them in one place.

This article walks you through our Onboarding Hub - the place to be for new customers to get to know what they need to do to get the best out of Bókun.

As a supplier, or a reseller, we have everything you need to get started!

 

I'm a supplier, I sell my own experiences. How can I get started?

In just 4 easy steps, you can:

1. Choose a relevant option to add experiences

  • Create your first experience in Bókun
    • Recommended if you don’t have Viator products.
    • Clicking the Start now quick link takes straight you to your Experiences page to start.
  • Import your products directly from Viator
    • Recommended if you already have Viator products.
    • Click the Import from Viator quick link to connect your Viator account to Bókun.

2. Set up sales channels to sell your experiences

  • Get a Book now button for your website
    • Recommended if you have an existing website.
    • Clicking the Start now quick link takes you to our widgets page.
    • Select a widget type, which products to sell, and generate a code you can put directly on your website.
  • Connect to Viator
    • Recommended if you want to increase bookings.
    • Click Connect now to connect with Viator.
  • Connect to GetYourGuide. Recommended if you want to increase bookings
    • Click Connect now to create a contractless connection with GetYourGuide.
  • Create a branded, bookable website
    • Recommended if you do not have an existing website.
    • Click Create now to create your own customizable out-of-the-box website.
  • Connect to partners in the Marketplace
    • Click the Explore marketplace quick link to set up your Marketplace business card, and find over 27,000 resellers to increase bookings.

3. Manage your bookings with Bókun tools

  • Create booking
    • Add your bookings manually, including phone, walk-in or offline reservations, to ensure all sales are captured.
    • Clicking the Create now quick link takes you to your internal offline booking channel.
  • Booking calendar
    • Manage your experiences with ease using the Booking Calendar to view availability and organize departures. Click the quick link to Explore now.
  • Close outs
    • Streamline your operations and manage demand by easily adjusting tour availability with the Close Outs feature.
    • Click the Explore now quick link to see where you can disable availability for selected experiences.
  • Resource management
    • Set up Resource Management to efficiently track and allocate your guides, vehicles, and other resources, ensuring smooth daily operations and optimized tour availability.
    • Click Explore now to see where to create and manage resources that you need to run your experience.
  • Passenger list
    • Use the Passenger List to organize and track daily departures, manage arrivals and no-shows, and view extras and booking details.
    • Click Explore now to view the passenger list for each experience departure.

4. Become a reseller to increase your revenue

  • Connect to the Marketplace.
     * Click the **Explore now** quick link to set up your reseller profile in the Bókun Marketplace and to explore and establish partnership opportunities.

     

 

I'm a reseller, I don't sell my own experiences. How can I get started?

In just 2 easy steps, you can:

1. Discover suppliers and experiences to sell on the Bókun Marketplace

  • Connect to suppliers on the Marketplace.
    • Click the Explore now quick link to set up your reseller profile in the Bókun Marketplace to explore and establish partnership opportunities.

2. Set up sales channels to start reselling experiences

  • Get a Book now button for your website.
    • Click the Start now quick link to add a booking button to your existing website to streamline the reservation process and increase sales. Recommended if you have an existing website.
  • Create a branded, bookable website.
    • Click the Create now quick link to build a custom website with booking capabilities if you don't already have an online presence. Recommended if you do NOT have an existing website.
  • Create an API key.
    • Click the Create now quick link to create API keys and get access to the Bókun web service APIs.
    • Access your marketplace setup via our REST API. View suppliers, experiences, pricing, and real-time availability to power your sales channels.
    • Learn about connecting to our RESTful API to easily complete uploads in bulk.

Your stats

  • Experiences created: Total number of experiences created

  • Live experiences: Total number of live experiences

  • Widget last loaded: The last time a visitor viewed your booking widget on any website where it's embedded (updates at most once per hour)

  • Bookings: The number of bookings made on your experiences

  • Booking value: The total value of bookings made on your experiences

  • View reports: A link to quick access to your Sales Report
